Elisa Mott Jones, Ed.S, NCC, E-RYT 500, RMHCI has been working in the health & wellness field for more than a decade. She discovered her passion for the art of teaching and pedagogy as a dance minor at Appalachian State University in North Carolina. Elisa became certified as a 200 Hour Yoga Instructor in 2005 and then went on to receive her 500 Hour Yoga Instructor Certification in 2015. She is a also Pilates instructor, Reiki Master Healer and has Masters and Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida as well as Certificates in Arts in Medicine and Spirituality and Health. She is a BodyWisdom Coach (www.elisamott.com) and Health At Every Size (HAES) Advocate, Registered Mental Health Intern, and published author and national speaker on yoga, eating disorders and body image.
She integrates the healing modalities of Yoga, reiki, mindfulness and expressive movement with the principles of Radical Acceptance & BodyWisdom to support her clients in achieving balance, wholeness and satisfaction with their bodies, lives and food.
